ADULT BEGINNERS
For adults who wish to get into the saddle for the first time, there is no age limit.
We advise to begin with a half hour one-to-one session to gain confidence and learn the basics.

Whether you are looking to join a regular group or enjoy some more intensive private instruction, we would be delighted to arrange a lesson for you
Children's Lessons
CHILD BEGINNER ONE-TO-ONE
Children can start riding at Buckswood Riding School from 9 years old.
They will start with a half hour one-to-one assessment lesson before moving on to a lesson best suited to their ability.
CHILD RIDERS
Children who can already ride can start at Buckswood Riding School with an hour one-to-one assessment lesson. From there your instructor will recommend what level rider you are and whether to continue one-to-one sessions or Saturday Pony Club group sessions
SATURDAY PONY CLUB
Saturdays are open to Pony Club members and non Pony Club members. The Saturday morning sessions are perfect for children looking to progress their knowledge and riding ability. During the Pony Club Saturday sessions, we focus on 1 hour group riding lessons, caring for the Buckswood Horses and joining in fun pony parties.
